Joaquim Miro is a Canadian entrepreneur and investor based in the Eastern Townships of Québec. He co-founded MLG Blockchain, TrustSwap, Alpaca Network and Gatewayz.ai, is a Founding Partner of GDA Capital with 70+ companies backed, and founded Regenerate Capital in 2026.
I’ve built companies from 75+ countries, and I’ve made most of the mistakes a founder can make. That’s the experience I bring to your company.
I started at L’Oréal Canada, leading an 8-figure brand launch. Then I jumped into startups and never looked back: co-founder and COO at MLG Blockchain, CMO at TrustSwap, CEO at Alpaca Network, Founding Partner at GDA Capital, co-founder of Gatewayz.ai.
Today I run Regenerate Capital from the Eastern Townships. I’m a father, a Spartan racer, a paraglider, a pianist and a decent cook. I speak English, French and Spanish.

What I believe
The idea is rarely the problem. Founders fail because they run out of team, distribution or energy. I focus on all three.
If nobody can find you, nothing else matters. Distribution is the bottleneck of this decade, and it’s the part I enjoy most.
Great companies need founders who last. I’ve seen too many founders trade their health and family for growth. It’s a bad deal, and it’s unnecessary.
